Testimonials
Manasc Isaac has always been committed to achieving the best client satisfaction.
We work hard to make sure that all aspects of a project move smoothly throughout the design and construction phases. Below are a few of the comments we've received during a project or upon project completion.
Government of Alberta
Honourable Ray Danyluk, Minister of Infrastructure
“This is a building that works. The Slave Lake Government Centre and Library is a first-class, well planned, sustainable building that will support the people who use it and work there by enabling efficient delivery of key services.”
Town of Slave Lake
Mayor Karina Pillay-Kinnee
“ [The Slave Lake Government Centre and Library] is the Town centerpiece… The ceilings in the council chamber and the courtrooms are quite stunning… Library enrolment has increased and it has become a magnet for residents of all ages.”
Servus Credit Union Ltd.
Brian Los
Property Manager
"[Manasc Isaac has] the gift of making people feel they have a part to play. You asked for their ideas and input as team players, you don’t dictate to people about how things will be done and that inspires them to become part of the solution." [Service Credit Union Corporate Centre]
The City of Calgary
David Watson, General Manager
Planning, Development & Assessment
"Thank you again for your commitment toward improving the quality of life and urban design in our city." [City of Calgary Water Centre]
Canadian Wood Council
Etienne Lalonde
V.P. – Market Development
"... [Manasc Isaac] is renowned for its work in sustainable design and we have long admired and complimented your firm’s use of Canadian wood products (e.g. ABSA, Yellowhead County Municipal Office, the Bird Observatory in Slave Lake). Where others question wood use for sustainable design, Manasc Isaac Architects understands forestry’s commitment to sustainable forest management and has embraced the properties and attributes of Canadian wood products."
Clark Builders Ltd.
Paul Verhesen, P.Eng.
President
“Beginning with Edmonton International’s Airside Operations & Maintenance Centre in 1998, through the difficult and challenging Intuit Canada’s office and call centre in 2000, to the recent Alberta Boiler Safety Association building, (and projects in-between) we have always found Manasc Isaac to be budget sensitive and willing to work with the project team to ensure the design is respectful of the available budget.”
BKDI Architects
Ben Barrington
Partner & Director of Sustainable Design
"In the same way the Jubilee [Auditorium] is sensitive to its context and its users, the City of Calgary’s Water Centre is another space that, although just completed last year, is already an iconic architectural statement. It doesn’t look like any other building in Calgary. This LEED® [gold] level-certified building was carefully designed to conserve water and energy and reduces its footprint on the environment by using materials such as wheat grass paneling instead of drywall. Everything that’s there is probably holding something else up – it uses less material and often the structure itself is the finished material. You get a better sense of how the building functions, being able to see all the pieces of it”.
