The M.A.D.E. in Edmonton 8th Annual Street Furniture Competition took place this past Saturday and Sunday on Churchill Square as part of the The Works Art & Design Festival. Among the competitors were Manasc Isaac's own Shafraaz Kaba and Karen Fedoruk, who competed with style, flair and good sportsmanship.

The competition was judged by two esteemed local architects—City Architect, Carole Belanger and Kees Prins from the Edmonton Design Committee, and drew attention to the Works Festival’s focus this year on sustainability, social responsibility and creativity.
