Manasc Isaac was commissioned to develop a renovation and addition for the AUMA headquarters, an organization of town and city governments, using as many sustainable strategies as possible.

The new design removed a bungalow on the neighbouring lot and extended the existing building to the west. The building was altered to house a large boardroom and the addition contains the new reception area.

In keeping with the Area Redevelopment Plan, the 2-storey addition retained the quality of a residence by employing elements such as balconies, bay windows, and dormer roofs. The Client's image is that of an 'Embassy' in this residential neighbourhood located along the North Saskatchewan riverbank.

This was the first project in Alberta to receive LEED certification.
