Beaumont Library

Beaumont, AB, Canada

Municipal, Cultural

March, 1991

  • Overview

When the Town of Beaumont was in need of a new library, the Library Board decided to expand and renovate a former Town Office building rather than build an entirely new structure. Due to its central location, the library can now efficiently provide specialized services and resources to the general public and to the business community. It encompasses a well-lit internal area that creates a focal point for cultural activities, a meeting place and an exhibition space for the entire community.

The exterior of the Library follows the ‘French Village’ theme consistent with the Manasc Isaac-designed Beaumont Town Hall.
