This new energy and resource-efficient volunteer fire hall will service the village of Breton and surrounding rural residents within the boundaries of Brazeau County. The new fire hall will showcase the best available environmental design practices and will demonstrate practical and effective high-performance building strategies to other communities.

The fire hall’s design is of simple function and form, making reference to its place in the rural landscape. Striking colours allow the building to become a landmark for the community.
