One of Alberta’s most beautiful communities, Banff’s Rocky Mountain setting yielded our design team tons of inspiration for the new Town Hall. The resulting building speaks of modernity while evoking local history, culture and environment.

More than two times as efficient as a conventional contemporary building, Banff Town Hall pushes the boundaries of sustainable design.

In fact, this innovative project was Alberta’s first C-2000 green building. This certification program is similar to today’s LEED® system, predating it by several years.

Ultimately, Banff Town Hall is not only a notable landmark for the community of Banff, but for our firm as well.

Banff Town Hall was designed in collaboration with Sturgess Architecture.
