This renovation and expansion sees a revitalized Edson Public Library, solidified as the cultural hub of its community.

Faced with growing demand for library materials, programs and spaces to gather, the Edson Public Library requested a new design that supports the larger community’s civic aspirations and goals.

Our design transforms the introspective and robust brick building into an extroverted and illuminated beacon, attracting residents to participate in a wide range of activities.

Varied spaces that range from a coffee bar to a community fireplace offer a selection of physical settings that will maximize the program possibilities for the Edson Public Library, proving that a library should be more than just a repository of books.
