Manasc Isaac was one of only 5 firms across Canada shortlisted to compete for the design of the new Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS), a world-class research facility.

Globally recognized for its excellence in Arctic science and technology research, the Station will also serve as an anchor for the existing global network of Arctic research centres.

Our design tells the story of the Arctic, weaving in the experience of people and places over time. The design inspires Canadians to explore and understand the Northern world. Meanwhile, the facility is rational, flexible and sustainable, maximizing economizing the scarce resources available in Cambridge Bay.
