The High River Community Resource Centre houses various provincial entities, as well as the Foothill School Division.

Replacing a building that was compromised by 2013's tragic flooding, the Centre was the first building to be completed following the flood. Its robust design takes floodplain mapping into consideration, one implication being that the building's mechanical and electrical systems are not located underground. As the building is situated on a silt-like structure, the building's design is meant to evoke boarding a ship and lifting off the ground.

The Resource Centre was certified LEED Gold in 2018.
