When Manasc Isaac decided to open a Calgary studio, we knew we wanted our new space to reflect our passion for sustainable design – the result is Reimagine Interiors by Manasc Isaac!

Building on the pioneering green design work that Manasc Isaac is known for, Reimagine Interiors has a flavour of its own. Climbing up the second storey’s wooden stairs in a discrete building on Memorial Drive, it doesn’t take long to see that innovative reuse and reclaimed materials are an inspiration for these designers. Antique chairs are suspended above you, a frugal and environmentally friendly art installation.

Inside the studio, reclaimed fir planking that was salvaged from a British Columbia Cannery defines an informal seating area, while revamped wooden art carrying cases pop up throughout the office, offering drawing table space. Vintage tin ceiling panels grace the bathroom’s backsplash, and shipping pallets find new life as material swatch displays.

Implementing a design method called Activity Based Working, Reimagine Interiors features a wide array of spaces, each useful for different kinds of work (collaborative work areas, concentration space and chatter spaces).

We can’t wait to see our Calgary studio transform the city’s office interiors with the design team’s progressive approach.
